Description

Are you looking to bring your financial expertise to a premier continuing care retirement community? Chateau Girardeau is seeking a skilled and motivated Controller to join our leadership team.

As Controller, you’ll oversee and coordinate the community’s daily accounting operations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. This role plays a vital part in supporting our mission of providing exceptional service to our residents and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger, fixed assets, amortization schedules, accounts payable/receivable, billing, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare accurate monthly, annual, and long-range financial statements and forecasts, including a five-year plan.
  • Monitor cash flow, investments, and banking relationships; oversee cash receipts and disbursements.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and all applicable regulatory requirements.

Position Details:

  • Full-time, salaried role with standard hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience.
  • Strong skills in financial management, analysis, and reporting.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively.
  • Proven organizational and problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency.
