The Chateau Girardeau is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to help us continue our mission of being the premier provider of housing, healthcare, and wellness to our area seniors.

Our Director of Nursing will manage overall resident care through direct oversight, coaching and supervision of the nursing staff to ensure that the highest level of care is provided to our residents.

Key Job Responsibilities Include:

• Plan and oversee admission, nursing, and patient care processes
• Provide leadership and supervision to all nursing staff members
• Hire and train new nursing staff members
• Communicate with families, residents, and physicians as needed
• Ensure the nursing department is compliant with all regulations
• Establish new policies and update existing policies to improve standard of care

This is a full-time salaried position. Hours will vary based on business needs.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Valid Missouri RN license required
• 3 years of nursing experience required
• Management/Supervisory experience required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Long Term Care Experience preferred
• In-depth knowledge of legal policies and regulations in long-term care
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to think critically and adapt quickly to new situations
