Description

Our Dining Services team is looking for a positive, reliable, and compassionate Full-Time Cook to provide quality food and service to residents, guests, and staff.

 

Key Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparation of high-quality food items according to standardized recipes or instructions in a fast, efficient manner in order to meet production, delivery, and service schedules.
  • Prepares and serves meals using correct portioning, meeting CMS minimum standards and ensuring that food is at the correct temperatures and is attractive.
  • Maintains high standards for sanitation and cleanliness according to state guidelines.

This is a full-time hourly position. Expected hours of work are 2 days 4am-12:30pm and 3 days 5am-1:30pm . Saturday through Wednesday each week.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years cooking experience preferred (including short order cooking and batch cooking experience)
  • ServSafe Certification preferred
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation in accordance with state and federal licensure
  • Ability to successfully complete background check and drug screen
